NEW REGULATION AS PER HEALTH AND SAFETY ACT

Section
22 of Ontario Regulation 213/91 is revoked and the following
substituted: Headwear
22.
(1) Protective headwear shall he readily available for the personal use
of each worker on a project (2)
Every worker who may be exposed to a hazard to his or her head while on
a project shall wear protective headwear. (3)
Protective headwear shall meet the requirements for Class E protective
headwear under the standard, CAN/CSA-Z94.1-92 (R]998) Industrial
Protective Headwear”, or it shall meet the requirements of
another standard that affords at least equal protection for the health
and safety of workers. |
Niagara Plumbing Supply and Millen Marine & Industrial Supply are stocking distributors for "North Protective headwear" which meets all requirements as designated by this new regulation. All Protective headwear must be Class E Approved.
