March 26th, 2001 marked the 75th Anniversary of Niagara Plumbing Supply Company Limited. The first location, at the corner of Ferry and Buchanan Streets, opened in 1926 with 6 employees and one truck. The plumbing and heating wholesale business was opened in anticipation of the business that the construction of Ontario Hydro's Sir Adam Beck 1 generating station, would contribute to the local economy and in particular, sales for the new business.

Over the years the plumbing and heating business grew and in 1964 Niagara Plumbing moved to 1605 Stamford Street near Valleyway. The Stamford Street location housed office and warehouse space totalling 15,000 square feet but as the business continued to flourish this location was expanded to 36,000 square feet.

In 1989, the company moved to its present location at 4300 Stanley Avenue to the buildings, which once housed Herbert Morris Crane Company and Unit Rig.

Today, Niagara Plumbing Supply is owned by Mr. George Qua and has successfully continued to expand to include many diversified businesses and employs 105 people. The "Family of Companies" is comprised of the main Niagara Plumbing Supply Company, Niagrow Systems, Gladding Sales Agency, Bathworks & More, and Millen Marine & Industrial Supply.  Niagara Plumbing is a wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, hydronics and industrial products.

Niagrow Systems, opened in 1984, is the leader in heating, irrigation and computerization of greenhouse systems in North America.

Gladding Sales Agency, purchased in 1990, supplies the sewer and water main contractors throughout the Peninsula.  Gladding's main product line is sewer and watermain pipe along with the appropriate sized valves and fittings.  In addition, they also supply a range of ancillary materials such as cast iron curbs and hydrandts.

Bathworks & More opened in 1995, is a retail supplier of bath and kitchen products and design, tile, countertops, cabinetry and accessories.

Millen Marine & Industrial Supply, purchased in 2000, is a supplier to the Industrial and Marine industries. Millen Marine & Industrial Supply, Seaway Life Raft, and Port Colborne Laundry offerers the most complete Chandlering Service in the Great Lakes Region.

The acquisition of Millen Marine & Industrial Supply allowed Niagara Plumbing Supply to provide "one stop shopping" to customers.  Hand, cutting, power, air, precision, measuring, outdoor and striking tools, cleaning supplies and equipment, adhesives, chemicals, paint & accessories, fasteners, abrasives, slings, chains, rope, safety supplies, and work wear help make up over 14,000 in stock items.

Niagara Plumbing Supply's seventy-five years of service has meant the development of a family of companies enhanced by

diversification, blending marketing strengths, buying power and created a range  of in stock inventory of over 55,000 items.
